400m Engine question

i just got a 1974 400 m with 90,000 on it... it runs really strong but it came out of a mercury car...... but has no pollution on it i just wonderin what the HP would be on it..... it has a edlebrock manfold and carb......

You need to know what it came in as it can very greatly, and with an aftermarket carb and manafold it makes it even harder to say.

ok well ill just have to ask my dad what it came from cause i got thr engine from a 1978 f250..... so i will post the name of the car it came from

Throw it on a dyno and see what it makes, that's the only way you'll get an accurate answer.
