79 f150 swap

I have a 79 f150 with 302 and 3 spd automatic. found a 74 351w for sale never touched for $150. What all is needed to do swap. Also this is a 2wd truck

The 351W is about 2 inches wider and an inch taller. You may need to modify the exhaust to reach the engine. I would use the 302 truck manifolds because the car ones will hit the passenger side frame.
You will also want to use the accessoriy brackets from the 351W due to the wider bolt spacing. Other than that, it should bolt right up.

is 150 good price for a bare 351w from a 74 toranto.Ford 351W block standard bore 1974 model D4AE. Block has never been machined in any way

I swaped in a 71 351W into my 79 F150 when the 302 went south. No problems and I love the extra power.
