I replaced the "___&___" filter today at 149,300. Originally dropped it in a 38,000- maintained it, etc... Performance increase NOTICEABLE... such as: quicker throttle response, smoother, quieter if you can believe. I would not recc. 100,000 plus on these regardless.
Hey- didn't know we could mention brand names here so, I replaced the K&N filter I originally installed at 38,000. As of today I have 149,300, So I replaced the filter with a brand new one, today, and was very pleased with the performance gains,
No, replaced it at 149K. Had reoiled, maintained as specified -just decided 100K miles plus on one filter was enough-no matter how good; or the claims of 1million miles; it was time for a new filter.
yeah,I was just wondering, they say not to clean it too often and it will work better.every 50000 miles I think.BUt the performance is noticablly bad to me if you do that.I have been cleaning mine more frequently and it seems I can tell if I do not.
