motor swap help
I just finished swapping an 88 mustang motor into my 97f-150. Had trouble getting the truck to fire but finally did. Exhaust was leaking so I shut it down to fix leak. Now truck will not fire. Turns over very slowly. I can smell gas. Battery is good. New starter. It is getting spark. Any ideas? Thanks

Did you swap computers as well? Firing order is different on an HO motor than that of standard 302. It uses the 351w firing order. BTW, you shouldn't smell gas unless your inside the cylinder. Make sure nothing is leaking.
