deciphering VIN
Hi all, could anyone tell me how to decipher the VIN on a 99 F250 Diesel? My dad is about to buy and I'd like to check the options in the VIN, can you point me to a web site? or give a quick breakdown? Jon

deciphering VIN
It does give some of the major equipment, I have found out that the 1F that the VIN starts with signifies that it has the 275HP/ 520 Torque diesel vs. the standard 250/505. Now if I can decipher the rest.
