today i finished putting the engine(4.0) back toghter after replacing the lower intake manifold gasket then the big moment i started it....after a few seconds of coolant burning out of the cylinders it was runnin fine. i left it running for a couple min. and shut it off well my girl came home and i told her it was fixed so she wanted to see i said yeah and told her to start it.... as soon as the car was started the engine reved up to 2000 mabye 2100 with no dummy lights. now it stays that way. if you press the accel. it will rev and hang there slowly dropping back to 2000rpm if you try to put it in gear the rpm drops but is still 1500 or so sound like a vaccume problem but why didnt it happen the first time i started it ..........
please help if ya got vac. diagrams for a 91 explroer 4.0 send them to me please because the chilton i have dosent match up

it was the vac hose to the break something the origional hose clamp bit a tiny hole in to the line canwanna think how it worked then didnt sorry thanke and peace..... but i may be back next time i try to start it ha ha
