Hello to all! Im on to the cab now! I just droped the cab and doors to the blaster and looking to get the parts to replace whats bad. I need corners ,rockers, front floor pans. Does any one know where the best place to get these parts that should fit with out much work. Also does any one know where i can find out what should be there, like a listing or drawing of where the parts should go? Someone had tried to fix the cab before me and i would like to change and fix it right for me. Thanks for the help Roger
I have 1955 F-600 that is in pretty strong running condition with lots of new mechanical work. Of course all the sheet metal is rusted out. I need to find a complete cab, doors, hood, fenders, and grill. The major problem is that I can't find another 1955 F-600 that is in any better shape. Folks tell me that everything is interchangeble from F100 thru F-700, but still can't find anything that isn't just another pile of rust. If you have any suggestions I would love to hear them. Can't afford much as I am just a small farm opperator with a very limited budget.
mid -fifty should have all you need on body parts. call and get one of their free catologs they have pretty good drawings of their parts and where they go it should be a pretty good reference.
I replaced all 4 cab corners, I got the parts from mid-fifty and they fitted pretty well
I had to do some work around the fuel filler there are some pics in my gallery which may help

Midfifty has knowledgeable staff, decent prices, they have a website as well. LMC is also a big supplier but they deal in many parts and trucks. Midfifty specializes in '53-'56 Ford Turcks.
Check out both, and get their catalogues because they lots of helpful hints and drawings. You can buy a "53 , '54-'55 or a '56 Repair Manual that can be quite helpful at most major swap meets...like little ole Carlisle might have it
i have a manual but its not as good as i would like maybe theres another one or 2 or 3 even dont know which one is better than the other. I have learned alot from this web site and its members so thats my main source.
Okie Dokie,
I saw a 53-55 F600 at a yard in Russellville, Ky it's in very good shape just the cab and frame though, I found it when I was liikong the owner said the hood was on it but when I checked it was lone gone!

Another source you might try is Northern Classic Trucks, www.northernclassictrucks.com/. They had the best prices I found for floor, rockers, and braces for my F1 cab. Fit pretty good too.
