New to E40D, is this normal?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I posted in the transmissions forums w/no response, mabe somebody here can help. My '92 F350 CC 4x4 has an e40d. When I first bought this truck(Feb. 04) it would shift once for each gear change and then once again into O.D. Lately, when warm, it occasionally will shift twice in each gear, much like it does going into O.D. from 3rd. The trans. was rebuilt about 55,000 miles ago, and has had a fluid flush/change about 1500 miles back. Anyone had similar experiences? Any advice or comments would be appreciated.
Regards, Rick

Not always noticable, but it could be the gear change then the torque converter locking.

My F250 does the same thing, but I usually only notice it when it's shifting into 2nd. I rarely use the overdrive. I read somewhere that it's normal. torque converter lockup.
