tires for dually
I have a 2000 f-350 cc 4x4 psd dually,and I would like to put 255-85-16 tires on stock aluminum rims.I would like to know if anyone has run these on a dually.The tire shop said the tires would work on the rims,but they may get rocks or gravel between the sidewalls and cause damage. Also I am putting a 3" leveling kit on front and replacing rear blocks with 4" blocks.Any input would be great.

I have 265-75-16s on my dually and have no such problems. However, I don't spend a lot of time on gravel roads or off-roading. As a note, I do plan to go back to narrower tire eventually to help improve my mud/snow traction.........
