As I have stated in previous posts, I have a 90 extended Eddie Bauer and a recently acquired 91 extended XLT. The 90 was hit in the right rear quarter, but neither the sliding door nor the rear door received any damage.
My plan is to rip out all of the interior of the 91 and replace the doors and the interior trim with the Eddie Bauer trim. I am looking for suggestions on how to handle the dash replacement. I have already removed the dash from the 90 and it was a real pain. I separated the dash from the wiring harness during the removal.
Would it be better to leave the wiring attached to the dash and just unplug all of the connectors and then just switch the harness into the dash from my 90?
Anybody with any suggestions?

you need to find out if the 90 and 91 dashes are identical. i'd guess for the most part they would be. i haven't heard of that swap before, doesn't mean it can't be done. i'd try to keep the 91 wiring harness intact, and try to plug the 90 into it, matching what you can (hopefully everything) the 91 may be slightly upgraded from the 90...... good luck! rick 91 aerostar xl ext 198 thousand miles and going..............
