gas gauge?
i got a 91 aerosatr with a broken gas gauge. i pulled the instrument cluster out and checked the sloush module and re solder some broken joints still dont work.figure must be sending unit i pulled the plug apart going to the fuel pump and sending unit and the gas gauge moves all the way up then goes to about a quarter tank. is that normal with out grounding the sending unit wire? i then grounded the wire witch i think is the green one and the gauge pegs out. plug the connecter back up and it drops to empty. discount want 110.00 for a sending unit i hate to buy it and it not be fixed. any way any ideas or input would be great.
