I know that there has been a number of threads about this subject but I was hoping someone could give me a summary on what was found best to solve this problem.

Pings at 3\4 to Full Throttle
Pings more in A'C Mode
Pings less with 93 Octane
Pings even less with Octane Booster
Running Autolite APP104 Double Platnium 10K on plugs. Do I have the right plugs anyone?

Chip has been reprogramed by past owner. ( I think this is the problem)

If it has been set up for 93 octane by the previous owner with a chip, it will pimg on 87 or 89 octane.
I too would try cleaning the MAF and changing the fuel filter. it may be cloged just enough to restrict fuel at higher rpms and cause it to lean out.
The problem was number 4 plug wire was bad. The MIL did not pick it up until later on after a hard run. PO304 Error Code. I replaced the wire and it runs like a champ now. I have had 3 similar problems with wires on this truck. I put a new set of Beldins on about 10K ago and have had to replace 2 of the wires.
