4.6 Engine Miss

I need some help with my problem 1996 Cougar 4.6 engine. Ford garage has replaced fuel filter, spark plugs,spark plug wires and oxygen sensor. Car misses on hard pull.... like climbing a steep hill. I have already spent over $500.00 on the three times I have had car to Ford garage. Any help would be appreciated.

i believe that engine has more than one coil, I think it has two. Any engine codes/dignostic info?

Thanks for your help. Ford garage said that no more codes were shoowing up???????

Back again.......Can anyone tell me how to check individual coils and the proper ohm reading for the 4,6 engine????

proper ohm reading is "10.0 - 10.2" 8 is dead.
