Fun with AOD.
Truck is an 86 F150 4x4 w/ 302/AOD.
I just got this truck after it'd been sitting up a while with a blown transfer case. After replacing the case, I took the truck on a 10 mile trip to see what it'd do.
Well, it seems like I have a random shift transmission now. I don't appear to have a third or OD gear, and it won't consistently shift into second. It moves out fairly well in first. The fluid looks good, and the PO says he changed the fluid when he was trying to see why the truck wouldn't move. Anyone have an idea of how to solve this or what the problem could be?
