turbo noises??
I have a '99 psd 4x4- when i put my foot into it hard, then let off, the engine/turbo (i'm not sure which but i think it's the turbo) makes an unusual gurgling sound- kind of like sucking air and water from an empty glass of pop would sound. My dad has the same year truck and his doesn't do it, so i know it's not normal, i was wondering if anyone has had this problem or knows what it is? help would be appreciated, because for the next 5,000 mi it's still under warrenty.

turbo noises??
I'd get it checked. I reckon it might be the turbo bearings going out. I've replaced too many turbos on Macks because the bearings went out. When they do, the shaft usually comes apart from the housing and the little fan blades hit the housing and go everwhere and often end up in the engine and intercooler. If its under warranty git that sucker checked!
