Well, I got a new gasket for my back window on my 67. It's the camper type that allows you to slide open the window panels. I got the gasket on the window frame but how the heck do you get it back in the *&*( window opening? Thanks.

Take some liquid dishsoap and insert copious amounts of it into the rubber groove where the window flange on the cab will go (lubrication). Take some good twine and insert it into the same groove, QUADRUPLE wrapping the window with it, leaving a tail of twine exposed at the end.
Get a buddy involved now.
Standing in the bed of the truck, have said buddy push the window up against the window flange without breaking the glass. YOU (on the inside of the truck) will grab the tail of twine and pull it around the window at a 90* angle to the window, thereby pulling the rubber up over the lip of the flange. Having the window quadruple wrapped will allow for the rubber to be pulled up over the lip in the event that the first go-around didn't work. Do not use anything to pry the rubber over the lip as it might break the window.
Thanks, guys. I like the idea of the quadruple wrap (sounds like a dance step). I'll give it a try mañana and post the results. Maybe I'll take a photo of the process. Let's see... right hand pushing window, left hand operating camera, twine in mouth, head jerking back. I'll post the results.
