Hello, new to list
Just wanted to say that I've enjoyed reading the input of many regarding their new rides! Glad to have stumbled onto this site!
I just got an '04 Scab Lariat 4x4 2 weeks ago, and am very impressed with the changes that Ford made. I've had 5 F series trucks so far, and am pleased with the new ride. Did my first oil change tonight. 1800 miles
I use my truck for work and spend all day in it. I transferred my XM over from my old '02, and really like the appointments at my finger tips. Steering wheel accessory control is great.
I wish they made the Lariat with an 8' ft bed though. That is my biggest complaint so far. It is my first extended cab, and It's starting to grow on me, so maybe the 6'1/2 will be fine.
I like the ride of the new series, and the better gas mileage.
Any way, thanks for the info put forth here.

Welcome!!! This is a great site with a lot of smart folks (and a few fools)! I too am very impressed with the new platform. I think Ford decided the folks plunkin' down the $$ for the Lariat really are not going to use it for work so forget the long bed! Its so plush inside I'm always making sure I'm spot less before I get in!!

Welcome aboard! This is also my 5th F-Series truck and they keep getting better and better and better!
