It is possible to gain 20 hp with other mods. But by themselves, it is doubtful.
If you are interested in flowmasters, let me ask you, is the flowmaster name important to you, because if it is not, and you just want the sound, we have some imitations that are made in the same factory that used to make the genuine flowmasters. So the quality is identical, the only difference is it doesn't have Flowmaster stamped in it.

I did get flowmasters on my old explorer and it did only change sound, since then I have moved on to a newer one.
