Replacing Wiring Harnes
Probably a silly question, but is replacing the wiring harness less difficult than trying to find the problem?
Problem 1 - dome light seems to have a mind of it's own. comes on, goes out, whenever.
Problem 2 - last night at 3:00 a.m. the horn went off and kept going until disconnected.
Someone has been under the dash in this truck and there appears to be wires running in all directions with no rhyme or reason.
Is replacing an entire harness something a newbie like me can attempt?

uuuuhhhhhhhhh, yes and no! it is relativly simple, but it is also complicated.
masking tape on all the connections marked with a number and a map of where they all go would be very helpfull.
sounds like you need to do it before something catches fire!
