Rear Diff Lub ?

i just changed my rear diff. i used 3 qt of ams oil syn and 8 oz of friction modifier, and it still was not full . how much does it hold?

6.9 pints--you should just be able to touch the fluid with your little finger with what you put in. Probably, you didn't get all the fluid out of the containers, that can be hard, and messy, to do. By the way, the modifier is not necessary with Amsoil 75-140, but won't hurt anything.
