1990F150 engine swap questions
want to swap my 300-6 for a 351w out of an 88 ford van, was wondering if the electronics are the same hook ups or will i have to change wiring harness setups, thanks everyone im a new member , and appreciate any info on swapping i can get.

I don't know about a van but F-150 to F-150 5.8L to a 4.9L wiring appears that it is going to work. The engine loom should plug into the truck loom but the computer needs to be changed out. The engine frame mount on the driverside shares some rivits with the bracket for the right side I beam. A royal PITA to take off, I can only imagine trying to put one on going to a 5.8L. Good luck.
