77 truck bed

i'm starting work on a 77 f-150 explorer and the bed is totally shot. the rest of the truck is good just minor surface rust. i was wondering if there was anywhere that i can buy a new or a used bed. i would really like to leave the truck as original as possible and would really like to find a replacemnet rather than go flat bed. thanks

Sometime's you can find a whole truck with a decent bed cheaper than you can buy a bed for. I have not seen any " new " available

bed side

hi does anyone **know** of any companies that make a drivers bed side without any gas tank filler holes? thanks brandon

no, you will probably have to weld in a patch peice to remove the gas filler hole. but then again i have never looked for that.
