bumper re locate
im puttin a 3 inch body lift on the ol 88f150. apparently the kit comes with every kind of lengthening peice of equip you need. except the bumper mounts, i need to know if i have to weld a somethin on there to raise the bumper up to the body or if there are kits available or fab er up er what. thanks guys!!!

drill new holes in the rear. for the front use 2" 1/4 angle about 6" long. bolt that to the frame and mount the bumper to it. its stronger that that junk they give you with the kit, moves the bumper forward about 1" and up, makes for a better place to stand when workin on the engine or cut the old one off (angle) and reweld higher up on the frame. no frame notch to cut.
