I fillup whenever I can snag a co-signer!

Actually, I try to fill up around 1/4 to 1/3 tank left. Keep some gas to help cool the fuel pump in the tank. I heard this years ago, and have followed the advice. I have never replaced an in-tank pump yet.

I fill up between 1/8 and 1/4. Usually whenever i get paid (every two weeks). And thats just going to work and back, the rest of the time i keep it parked. Im looking at a ZX2 right now in place of the bronco.

ive heard that same thing abt its bad to let ur tank run below abt 1/4. so i try to fill up basically whenever i got the money, i dont run it to E anymore anyways, cuz since ive had my lisence, ive already run it dry twice. and had to siphon gas outta the tractor just to get it to town quite a few times.

I put between E and a 1/4, but no matter what I'll top the tanks off before I head out of town on a weekend.

I fill up when it gets below the 1/4 mark, but I never fill past half a tank. This reduces load weight over the axle, and improves gas mileage. There are a lot of gas stations around here.

So, you basically get gas every time you use 1/4 of a tank fo gas
So you get gas after every 5 gallons, so about every 75 miles or so?

I fuel up every weekend - just so it's full for the next week. Sometimes it's still over half full - but it's just kinda habit..

I drive 16 miles r/t to work. Twelve miles to the gallon. Fill up at pay day, and 1/2 tank at empty (almost said $10, but no more), then good till next pay day. Get the pump in my front tank replaced, I'll be gettin gas only on pay day.

That's basically what I do. I am usually around half a tank or a little less by Friday or Saturday. Then it only costs me around $30. Not too bad for one week of driving.

I only drive 12 miles a day to work and back, then to lunch and back. works out pretty nice, I get around 18 miles to the gallon, if I drive nice, and 15 if I'm on it a lot.

Around here, I've been noticing that gas is cheap on a certain day of the week. (I'm not going to say which day in case some gas station owner gets smart)

I've been babying my truck lately, since it's costing me about $65 to fill up. I just went 2 weeks on my last tank, a week and a half on the tank before, another week and a half, a 2 weeker, etc. Not saying that I'm driving my truck differently, just a different frequency. I'm getting the same 15 - 18 mpg as when I first got my truck.

Back when I first got my truck, it was costing about $35, $40 was bearable, $50 was getting out of hand. Now, over $60, I've got to watch it. And that $60 is on a "cheap gas day."

But, if I need gas (ie: on empty and not a cheap gas day) I'll suck it up and fill up. No point in putting in a few bucks to tide me over to cheap gas day. That's a waste of my time going in for gas twice.

"Time is money."

I fill up between 1/4 and 1/2, which happens to be almost daily. I only have an 18 gallon tank, and only get about 12 mpg in the summer due to the type of driving I do in the summer (about 130 highway and 40 around town and off road).
