I recently was given a 1985 F-250 Extended Cab Dually that was my grandfather's (and father's). The truck is in rather good condition. There is a 50 gallon fuel tank in the bed of the truck. Does anyone know who could replace such a tank and how much it would cost? The problem is, the rear tank in the belly of the truck has never worked. The Ford dealership never got the tank to work properly (this was 30 days after purchase, as I have been told). I need the tank in the bed due to the 2nd tank in the belly not working. The bed tank does work, but the mounting brackets are starting to rust. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. And yes, it is a diesel - a 6.9L International. Thanks!
