I dont know of anyone that makes an over the counter adjustable pushrod for the FE, but there are many that will custom build them for you, which adds to the price. For the money my choice would be adjustable rockers, for a few reasons....First, the ratio is different 1.76 for adjustable 1.73 for stock, which translates into higher lift, and faster opening valves from the same cam. Second adjustable pushrods can be a real pain to set up (you need 3 wrenches) and its a tight spot to work in. By the way...you have mail....d44hd

You really don't need adjustable pushrods. There are 4 lengths of over the counter pushrods to go with your non-adjustable rocker setup. To select the correct length, turn the crank over until the cam lifter is on the cam base circle, then compress the lifter completely, then measure the distance between the rocker arm and valve stem. Measurement should be about 0.150 inch. This measurement can be anywhere from less than 0.100 to 0.150 and there will be no lifter noise with the engine running. Remove the rocker shaft assy and put a straight edge across the valve stems. If they are all within about 0.050 you can use one common length of pushrod, just measure the valve stem clearance on a valve thats half way between the shortest and longest gap when checking with the straight edge. It can be difficult to compress the lifter completely. I substitute a new lifter when checking pushrod length. The new lifter compresses easily because it has never been filled with oil. I have the intake manifold off of course when doing this.
As d44hd suggests, adjustable rockers are nice if you have the money. I've built them both ways and the result is the same if done properly.
