A conversation has come to a fork in the road. This guy says he might put air shocks on his truck on the front suspension (IFS 4x4). I say he can, and maybe even raise it an inch or 2 like he wants. But I also say this would lead to a problem or more.
1. If he puts air in, or lets air out, or leaks, or whatever, he will be changing the camber of his tires.
2. If he hammers the suspension, there is an increases risk of shock mount failure if the shock mount takes hits the springs should be absorbing.
Am I right here, or is he gonna be okay with air shocks in the front?
