Unhappy Almost Overheating

M bronc is acting weird. Sometimes when im just driving along it will be up in the "A" or "L" when normally it is in it "N" or "O" range.

Like today... i was driving on the highway, doing between 10-55, and I had the air on full and it got up to about the "R" and then I turned it off, rolled the windows down and was driving for about 15 more mins, then pulled off the freeway, and was in stop and go traffic... that is when it got up to the "A/L" and I was like what the heck!! It should run warmer when the air is on, and it didnt.

Also in the winter (last winter) it took like 5+ mins to warm up... could the thermstat be going bad?

Also I think the Rad Fluid is orginal, I bought some "Radiator flush" and im going to do that one or two times...

Any thoughts on this?

A definate flush is in order, if for nothing more than piece of mind. Also, it does sound like you have a sticky thermostat. I would take it out, and give it a once over. Again, I would change it for piece of mind.
