OK after viewing different threads and starting my own I am still confused. This is what I got. I have a 91 f150 with a 302. I bought another motor for it and am putting it in right now. The new motor is a new (freshly rebuilt) 88 mustang 5.0 roller cam. I have speed density set up. My question is do I run the 351W firing order or stay with my truck firing order. I am using all my truck components on this motor. I have changed the cam in it and I got the steel distributor gear. Please help I need to know what firing order I have to use.

 

You need to set the firing order for the cam you put in. If for the 351 then thats the order .

 

did you put the standard truck cam in or one for the 302HO/351?

 

I put a summitt truck power cam in it. It said the application was a roller 302 so I assume I run the 302 firing order right?

 

SO it was not listed as 351w/302HO, it was just listed as 302, then yes the 302 firing order is correct.

 

Set your fireing order to your cam card. It will tell you the correct order. The h.o. order is getting mort popular.
