rebuild/overhaul kit (automatic)
I'm gonna rebuild my C4 in a few weeks, so for you guys who have done this in the past what brand kit do you recommend. This is a stock rebuild so no crazy stuff please.

I don't really have a real answer for you but, I'm in the middle of doing a C-4 myself. Just got it torn down and it is completely worn out including a stripped output shaft and planetary, so I may just look for another one. Usually though, I go down to the trans parts store and buy what they carry ( never noticed a "brand" on it.) I just start with a clutch and seal kit and go from there.

Just an update for you. I went and picked up my kit today and it has Raybestos clutches in it. Came with frictions, steels, all the rubber seals, steel seals, and gaskets. All for 80.00. Also came with the inter band.
