Fuel sending unit questions
I've got an 89 F-250 and I took the sending units out of the tanks because the gauge was going from full to empty and not showing anthing in the middle. The sending units are worn down really good. I was wondering if anyone knows the ohms rating on a sending unit for this kind of truck. I got one from a parts house that is rated at 10 to 78 ohms but that only makes the tank read empty to half a tank. I have found a few things on the web to tell me that the ohms need to be 33 to 240.
