overheating 5.8
I just recently bought a 89' f-250 with a 351 in it i think the motor has been replaced in at some time. the water pump in went bad in it since then i replaced it along with a t-stat, rad flush, o2 sensor, idler control. i scan the eec and replaced what that said.i replaced the temp gauge and at one point the temp got 250.i dont know how hot the 351 is supossed to get but that has got to be to high.the temp gauge seem to rise and fall . there is a slight leak in the collant level. ive all but given up took the t-stat out and put it up for sale. but it runs great i would like to keep iti think it might be the head gasket but i have to much money in it as it is. is there any thing i might of missed
