95 XLT Remote Entry Problem
My spouse noticed that the remote transmitter was not working. What I discovered is that the transmitter works intermittently from outside the truck. However if I use the transmitter inside the truck it works without issue.
I replaced the batteries, but the problem still occurs. I have two transmitters and both are having this issue.
The truck has 98,000 miles on it. It seems as if the range of the reciever has been drastically reduced. Has anyone else run into this issue?
Any help is appreciated.

Remote Entry RF Interference
After discovering how to search through this forum I came across several entries that led me to believe that there was RF interference between the transmitter and the receiver.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com

I had recently switched to a different cell phone company so I immediately targeted that as the possible cause.<o></o>

I only use my cell phone for emergencies so it is always in the truck, plugged in and charging. Through a process of elimination I discovered that the issue went away when I swapped the charging cable with another one that I had.<o></o>

The only problem a friend of mine has had with his 02 Sonota in the 44K he's owned it is that the remote entry has not worked 4 or 5 times. Fortunately he still remembers how to unlock the car with a key in the door, but of course then the car thinks it's being stolen and the PITA alarm goes off. He occasionaly plugs in his cell phone.
