i have a few ideas kicking around and i'm looking for advice from any knowledgeble members. first off i have a 1991 Bronco with a 302 thats pretty much wore out. the truck itself is in excellent condition overall.
i was wondering what it would take to swap this motor up to a 351 either fuel injected or carbuerated. i only use the truck on the weekends and its not a daily driver nor do i take it hard core 4 wheeling. however i will be towing a boat quite often and taking it on weekend outings with my little girl. basically i will be towing the boat anywhere from 50-100 miles and i'm not sure another 302 is the way to go. i'm looking for any advice. thank you folks for all the help!

P.S. I live in the Central Texas(outside Austin) area if anyone has any leads on motors, parts, or stuff that i would need i you are willing to share!
well just rebuilt my 302 and while i was rebuilding i got the k&N intake, headers, bassani y-pipe, high-flow cat, gibson exhaust and electric fans, with the rebuild i got new lifters, springs, pistons, oil pump, etc. i got a comp cam (#31-255-5) also. all this and the machine work was around 2500. just for the rebuild parts, cam and machine work i think i spent 1200, if you have 3.55 gears id go with the 351, but i have the 4.10 in mine so i just stuck with the rebuild i have a huge power gain out of my 302 so depending on what you have and what your willing to spend id just stick with the 302, unless you have a 351 for a good price but if i were to get another engine id rebuild it too unless it came from a place you can trust. so you can spend money on another engine and its rebuild or just rebuild your 302. but its up to you, thats just what i believe cause your not doin anything hard core and ive towed a 4-6 ton boat with the 302 and 4.10 gears
