I am about the upgrade the exhaust on my dad's truck (1999 F-350 Powerstroke) to a 4" pipe. I'm am having a time tying to figure out what muffler do I wanna run on it so that it'll please him and me. Any suggestions?
Ok this doesn't count but I had 'em on my last 6.2L diesel. (Dual exhaust) When I got on it, it would wake the dead & smoke the tires! Of course, I had made some other mods...
OK sorry...Cherry bombs! Oh them were the good ole days...
Cherrybombs I hate to admit it but I used to love them when I was a kid. Had a pair on my 55 ****** pickup with the 283 Chevy you could hear me coming a mile away lol
[font color=red size=2]My brother has a '88 F250 with a 7.3 and a straight pipe. It sounds great, has a deep throaty growl until it's revved up - then it's louder than my 390 with glasspacks. Try straight pipes, you can easily have mufflers put in later if you don't like it...
