Im looking to by a power stroke and I have narrowed it to two trucks
2002 lariat lwb 4x4 7.3 auto 42000 miles or
2003 xlt lwb 4x4 6.0 auto 14000 miles both are crew cabs the 03 is about 7000 dollars more i have a 28 ft rockwood ultra lite fifth wheel weighs about 6900 lbs and i live in new mexico altitude 5200 ft any comments would be greatly appreciated candt make up my mind how to go.

Go with the 7.3L. It is a time tested and proven motor. The 6.0L especially in 2003 has a lot of bugs still needing to be worked out.

Yea - too many issues with the '03 6.0 - 'nuther vote for the 7.3!! You won't be disappointed.

I'll give a third vote for the 7.3 PSD. This is a proven engine over the long-term with very few problems.

number 4 here go with the 7.3. it is really to bad but when you look in the 6.0 forum there are alot of people having problems with there '03 6.0's
