front axle seal replacemant
I have a 98 explorer with a leak at the outboard right axle. Has anyone replaced this seal, it looks as though once the spindle is removed that the axle pulls out of the housing and it should be a easy matter to replace the seal!! Does anyone know if this is the case or is there more involved in removing the axle. Is there a bearing at that point?Any input would be appreciated.
