Anti-lock Brakes Problem
I have a 1998 Windstar (I know it is not a truck) with a brake problem. The front and rear pads/shoes were worn out and as the van came to a stop, pressure would seem to let off. I replaced the front discs and pads, rear shoes, hardware, wheel cylinders, and brake drums. Now it is smooth and quiet, but as I still come to a full stop, pressure seems let off before stopping. When the pressure lets off, it sounds like the van is farting. I have never had a situation like this and know no where else to go. Anyone had this kind of trouble before. The van is in great shape and has 142,000 miles. Thanks in adavance for any help.
