Another $1,500 Rebate?

Monday, Ford introduced a new $1,500 cash rebate TO dealers who meet and/or EXCEED "specified" F-150 sales numbers. This is in addition to, the $1,500 rebate to we buyers. I wonder if any dealers will PASS ON any/some/all of this added "kicker" to respective buyers?

We're at the $500 level, and we're passing it on. That's how we can sell any F-150 for $700 below invoice, instead of the usual $200 below. If and when we achieve the $1000 and $1500 levels, we'll pass them along, too.

Levels?

How many F-150 units do dealers have to sell in order to collect these $500, $1,000, and $1,500 "kickers"?

It depends on the dealer; each one of us has been given our own goal, and the amounts of money we get will depend on the percentage of that goal we achieve. I could list the percentages, but what good would it do? Unless you know the goal that any one dealer needs to achieve, the percentages are meaninglesss. It's all meant to create a level playing field, for small and large dealers alike.

Must be nice to have dealers work WITH you. Out here in Hawaii they refuse to go below Fords MSRP on the new F150's, and (based on my treatment at the 3 ford dealers) if you have a trade-in, don't expect to get anything below the $4000 fair market adjustment bringing the F150 SCREW to a nice $36,500. Thankfully I had a friend at ford hook me up. $28,350.04 for my F150 SCrew, 4x2. AND since I got it on the X-plan, they refused to fix the chipped paint on the door that i noticed on my test drive two weeks before I bought the truck.

Hawaii may be paradise, but they make you pay for it......

Okay, we hit the $1,000 level yesterday. For in-stock trucks, that puts our current price (including the rebate) at $2700 BELOW invoice for SuperCrews, and $3200 BELOW invoice for regular and supercabs. In-stock or dealer-traded F-150s only, no orders (program ends too soon), and does not apply to A/X/Z-plan. E-mail me with what you're looking for, and I'll do my best to find it.

Hey! Looking through the forums and came across this message. I'm new to the site and can't send emails yet. I'm looking for a Black FX4 Supercab, 18'' wheels, black interior(cloth or leather),Audiophile stereo, power sliding rear window and anything else. It also needs the towing package. If you find anything, please send me an email with details. My email address is atomman1@yahoo.com. Thanks!

desmoduc---sounds like the dealer i got my ride from here in MO. I bought the truck at msrp but got a heck of a deal on my trade-in. The car was worth about $9,000, they gave me $15,000 and there wasn't much of a rebate on it because i bought the truck when they first came out. If they hadn't given me that much for my trade-in i would have walked.
