Steering Wheel Popping
97 F150 4x4 4.6l 5 spd. I am noticing a "popping" feel in the the steering wheel at lower "under 40" speeds. I happen both when just turning the wheel side to side and also when is it on the stops. The power steering level is fine. I was just wondering if any of you have had this problem and if so how you fixed it. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

I would start by checking, or having checked, the ball joints and tie rod ends. You may have 1 worn out. Worn out tie rod ends can eventually break and you'll have no steering......not a good thing.
