muffler
i have a 1991 f150 5.0L. i was wanting to ditch the standard exhast and muffler system and put in some (1 or 2) new pipes. i would like to get a deep sounding muffler, one that really sounds like a monster truck. anybody have any good suggestions about what i should look into and about how much it would cost me?

i just bolted up an exhaust system on my 89 f250 that i picked up from jcwhitney....i removed it all from the manifolds back.....the kit came with the two pipes that bolt rite to the manifolds....two glasspacks....and two tailpipes that exit in front of the rear wheels......sounds very nice ....and just cost $120.00...............

3" high flow CAT to replace the second cat, and a 3" straight pipe. Mine has this know, but I also have a 12" glasspack. Quiet in the cab with a good low rumble outside. Power and fuel economy improvement noted as well.
