04 EB Expedition Navigation System Question
Hey everyone. I have a new 04 EB Expedition with the navigation package. Does anyone know where I can go to get information on how to over-ride the "cant do this while your moving" locks?
I've had an 01 EB Expedition prior to this one where i installed a laptop and used that for GPS/MP3s/etc.... I cant' stand that I have to be stopped to do some of the location features on this veh.
THERE HAS to be a way to over ride this... .Any know?

If you find it I would love to know the same. I get tired of correcting the bimbo on the route I want to take. Can't we have it remember a route that we took in a previous trip? Anyone know of any aftermarket maps that don't cost 199.00???

Anyone had any experience with doing any 'line in' modifications on the nav system? I am currently an XM subscriber and LOVE it. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT. I HATE though.... having to use an FM Modulator. I'm thinking about splicing the audio feed from the CD changer to a switch and having the CD audio and XM LINE OUT audio on that switch so while in "CD" mode, I can physically change between the XM and Changer audio.. Anyone thought about that? Any ideas?
