A/C Question
1983 F-100, AC Blows nice and cold at stop or during idle cruising. However, it seems when engine is under strain, I.E. accellerating...the air stops blowing...the fan is still going but hardly any air is coming through vents. Then soon as you reach speed and level off, it blows good again???? Any Ideas.....

Check to see if it is blowing on the windsheild when that happens. When the vacuum is low or nonexistant, it goes to the defrost location. The vacuum source to the controls is likely going away, making it change postion.Check the reservoir and check valve for leaks and such, and be sure the vacuum hose source is full time vacuum.
