I've also heard that these tires are a poor choice for mud due to the small voids between tread. They gum up quick and are hard to clean out. Great for pavement though.
i have a buddy who has them on his 02 250 superduty and if you air down they do alright on rocks, fairly well in the sand, but crappy as hell when it sees any kind of water mixed with dirt! they are quiet and they do well on the street. They just look funny to me!
The cleats on the wide wall clean themselves well, but thats it. You could get a hot knife (or whatever theyre called) and cut the tire for more void. I thought this over as a serious consideration for my next tires, but Im leanin towards IROK's or TSL's now...
Anyone know how many miles you can get out of them?
