I have read several posts about problems with the PSD's and automatic transmissions because of the amount of torque the engine produces being to much for tranny. I just read in the microtuner forum that Ford tried to fix this by tuning the PSD's down a little so as not to eat up the transmission.
Now,I know that on my particular truck, 99' F350 PSD 6 spd, that the PCM was changed or modified because there is a sticker under the hood that states this. How do I know if this is what was done to my truck and why was it done on a manuel shift.
Any ideas?
