6.0 PSD Problems?

6.0 PSD Problems?
I have seen a few forums saying things about turbos going and engines having to be replaced in the 6.0L PSD. I can't seem to find any specific problems though. Can you guys tell me what problems the 6.0L has been/has? My dad and myself are considering a 6.0L F-250 but are a little weary. Can you guys assist?

I can only tell you what our shop has experienced. All the problems we've seen have been associated with the early '03 models, which was anything built before April of '03, and some of the ones built between April and June of '03. We've had no problems with the '04s at this point. But you really should spend some time reading the 6.0 forum; they're definitely the experts to look to.
