I need to take my truck in for some warranty work. The Predator shows I have two codes popping up, the ever popular P0603 (Powertrain control module KAM error) and P1000 (System readiness test not complete). Neither of these I believe to be related in any way to the Predator. So my question is, if I return the truck back to factory programing and do NOT clear the codes, will the dealership be able to tell that the Predator was installed? Or should I return it to factory while clearing the codes and just wait for them to come back? Hopefully someone can answer this for me
I got those two codes the first time I used the Predator. When you upload one of their tunes, at the end of the process it says to disconnect the Predator and it has a "continue" button. If you disconnect first the screen goes blank and it leaves you with those two errors. But, if you hit "continue" without disconnecting, it will again say you can disconnect and it still has the "continue" button. Hit continue again the tne Predator reboots. Then you disconnect and you won't get the errors. Make sense?
Anyway when I reloaded the factory program, there were no errors.
