Cruise Control

At what milage is it safe to use cruise control? First time diesel owner and I keep reading that the engine doesn't fully break in for a lot of miles. I have a long trip coming up and I only have about 900 miles on the truck.

Thanks,
Mike

it should say in your owners manual what the break in milege is. I dont remember what it is though.

The use of cruise control is safe to use from day one. As far as your "break-in" worries, it's cool as long as your not running high rpm's.

Read your owners manual, one of the most important part of breaking in a motor is not to maintain A constant rpm.
