Just purchased an 2000 F250 SD 4X4 7.3 diesel auto 75308 Miles,with a guarantee of 1000 miles or 30 days. I am over the 1000 mile limit. I had my mechanic check it out and everything was ok. I also had an oil change and filter.An oil leak has developed between the (looks like) engine and tranny .Could this be a coverup from the previous owner or dealership? and if so, how do I prove it or do I bite the bullet and get it fixed.Either way it needs taken care ASAP.Could this be a problem with the 2000's and if it is are there any TSB'S or recalls on this ?
