octane boosters
how often should you use octane boosters i usually use nos street octane booster on my 02 explorer v6 4.0 with a k&n fipk and helix throttle body spacer and perma cool electric fan

The choice is yours if yu want to use the booster on every tank or not. Unless you have made mods that require a boost there isn't a lot of advantage to them. Also be advised that when the octane booster say it will raise the level by 10 or whatever that can be misleading. The octane rateing is in tens so if you use 87 octane and a booster that says it will raise your level by ten then you will only be running 88 octane.
